final minutes of dawn.

The sky is ivory-blue.

It means today must be a success,
despite the fact that I am going
to lose my wallet and most likely
my sense of holy direction,
because dawn
is in the bucket:
Full screaming,
Full stomach acid,
Full the question I am forced to swallow.
The day is hanging on a thread in the sky.
Will it go ivory,
or will it go blue?
